We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our growing landscaping team at Landstruction.

Ground Maintenance Operative Responsibilities
As a Ground Maintenance Operative you will be maintaining professional commercial landscaping across the North West.
Key duties include:
- Lawn mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, and general groundskeeping
- Maintaining commercial landscapes, gardens, and outdoor spaces to a high standard
- Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and seasonal bedding
- Assisting with landscaping and soft landscaping projects
- Weed control and pest management using safe working practices
- Operating and maintaining landscaping machinery, power tools, mowers, trimmers, and ride-on equipment
- Carrying out seasonal maintenance including leaf clearance, watering, and winter duties
- Collecting and disposing of green waste responsibly
- Completing routine safety checks and reporting hazards
- Delivering excellent customer service while representing the company professionally on-site
Ground Maintenance Team Leader Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, or garden maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Experience using landscaping machinery and power tools desirable
- CSCS card
Desirable
- Full, clean UK driving licence
