Due to an increasing workload we have an opening for a skilled welder fabricator.
Innovate fabrication Ltd, based in Peterborough, offers a turn key solution for its customers from initial design through to a completed project.
We cover general and bespoke fabrication in Mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium for these the following requirements are needed:
What you'll do:
- Undertake fabrication, assembly and fitting of custom parts and assembly components to the correct quality levels and set timescales
- MIG welding components in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead)
- Use fabrication tools
- Manage a variety of fabrication jobs from start to finish, working to a high standard both individually and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Skilled in MIG welding up to 12mm in mild steel with at least 5 years experience.
- Ability to use a range of fabrication machinery.
- Ability to work from Engineering drawings (3rd angle projection)
- Strong spoken and written English with excellent time keeping, positive attitude and the ability to work independently
- General knowledge of the fabrication industry with time served.
- Full driving licence
Nice to have:
- Tig welding experience in aluminium and stainless steel
- MIG welding experience in aluminium and stainless steel
- Previous use of Amada cnc pressbrake
- Previous use of operating a Laser cutter
- A recognised apprenticeship or extensive time serve
- Experience of coach built bespoke vehicles
- Evidence of previous welding approvals/qualifications
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Working Hours 7:30 - 4:00
- overtime when required
