The Company
We are Ribble Farm, a thriving privately run foodservice business with over 50 years of history. We supply over 3000 products to a fantastic customer base that includes restaurants, hotels, schools, arenas and large sporting clubs. We are based just off the M6 in Longridge & distribution network spans across the north of England with pockets in the south.
We work with a number of local and international suppliers in order to make sure we source the finest products on the market, from basic fresh produce and dry goods up to the most exotic ingredients for our customers dishes’. Once received, they make their way through our multi-temperature supply chain to ensure the customer is receiving the highest quality of product available.
The Role
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to help with picking orders, stocking up and tidying in the warehouse.
The day-to-day will involve:
- Picking high quality goods and packing them correctly into our Ribble crates on the picking line.
- Taking full ownership of your picking area and the products in it.
- Stocking up the picking area.
- Cleaning up the picking area.
- Moving pallets around the warehouse to their correct location.
What you Will Need?
- You will ideally have experience in a warehouse, although food experience is not essential.
- You will be managing yourself at times, so it is important that you have a pro-active nature, with a keen sense of getting things done.
