Represent Charities. Inspire Support. Build a Rewarding Career.
Are you someone who enjoys meeting new people, thrives in busy environments, and wants a role where every conversation has the potential to make a real difference?
Moon Moments is recruiting on behalf of a London-based client that specialises in face-to-face promotional campaigns for leading UK charities and non-profit organisations. As their team continues to grow, they are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join as Event Sales Assistants, helping to connect members of the public with causes that create lasting positive change.
Working across shopping centres, retail venues, promotional events, and branded campaign spaces throughout London, you'll become an ambassador for a variety of charitable organisations. You'll share their mission, highlight the impact of their work, and encourage members of the public to become regular supporters through monthly donations.
This is a people-first role where your personality, communication skills, and enthusiasm will be your greatest strengths. Previous fundraising or sales experience isn't essential—our client provides comprehensive training, ongoing coaching, and continuous support to help you succeed.
Your Responsibilities
As an Event Sales Assistant, you'll play an important role in delivering engaging fundraising campaigns and creating meaningful interactions with potential supporters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Representing nationally recognised charities at promotional events and customer engagement campaigns
- Speaking with members of the public in a friendly, confident, and professional manner
- Sharing each charity's mission, values, achievements, and the positive impact their work has on individuals and communities
- Explaining how ongoing donations help fund essential projects and life-changing services
- Listening to people's interests and answering questions about the charities and their campaigns
- Guiding supporters through the donation and registration process accurately and professionally
- Creating memorable customer experiences that encourage long-term supporter relationships
- Working towards individual and team fundraising objectives
- Participating in campaign briefings, product knowledge sessions, and ongoing coaching

- Friendly, approachable, and positive
- Comfortable working in customer-facing environments
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Coachable and willing to learn
- Collaborative team players who enjoy working towards shared success
Applicants from retail, hospitality, customer service, events, promotions, sales, volunteering, sports, or graduate backgrounds are all encouraged to apply. Full training is provided.
