We are a small family run recycling and waste management company specialising in wood and green waste recycling.
We are recruiting for a Loading Shovel Driver to join our team at Moore Recycling. You will be based at our site in Sibson, near Nuneaton.
This is a full-time position and the working days are Monday to Friday 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. with 30 min unpaid lunch break. The successful applicant must be flexible as will be expected to start earlier and finish later when required and will also need to work some Saturdays when needed
Responsibilities will include
- Operate a loading shovel to move and manage materials
- Feed processing plant as required
- Load and unload articulated vehicles safely
- Maintain awareness of traffic management systems and pedestrian safety
- Conduct daily pre-start checks
- Identify and report mechanical defects or performance issues
- Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the machine
