Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of surfaces in the kitchen and bedroom industry, finishing both hardwoods and mdf materials ensuring precision and consistency in every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail are highly valued. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand tools and power tools, and experience in construction painting or fabrication. Your expertise will help bring projects to life with flawless finishes while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Operate spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other application tools with precision to achieve smooth, even coats.
- Mix paints, primers, and coatings accurately using basic math skills to meet project specifications.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on spray equipment.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in assembly or fabrication tasks as needed to support project requirements.
- Maintain a clean work area, organize tools and materials efficiently within the warehouse or job site.
Experience
- Prior experience with construction painting or related roles such as fabrication or assembly is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical concepts is highly desirable.
- Warehouse experience that demonstrates organizational skills and safety awareness is a plus.
- Knowledge of kitchen and bedroom fabrication processes can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for mixing paints and measuring materials accurately.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to spray painting, handling chemicals, and working with power tools.
