Job Summary
A Simple Fixer Property & Maintenance Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Property Maintenance Manager to oversee property maintenance operations, repair programmes, contractors, and service delivery across residential and commercial properties.
The successful candidate will coordinate maintenance teams, suppliers, budgets, and planned and reactive works while ensuring properties are maintained safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
What You'll Do
- Manage planned, preventative, and reactive property maintenance
- Lead maintenance teams, contractors, tradespeople, and suppliers
- Coordinate repairs, inspections, refurbishment, and improvement works
- Manage maintenance schedules, workloads, budgets, and resources
- Monitor contractor performance, costs, quality, and completion times
- Handle maintenance issues and service escalations
- Coordinate plumbing, electrical, heating, decorating, and general building works
- Support property health, safety, and compliance requirements
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and contractor documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality and control costs
Requirements
- Experience in property maintenance, facilities management, building services, construction, or a related area
- Experience coordinating maintenance teams, contractors, or property services
- Good understanding of general building maintenance and repairs
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Good problem-solving and contractor-management abilities
- Ability to coordinate multiple properties, jobs, and priorities
- Knowledge of relevant property health and safety practices is advantageous
- Relevant qualification or equivalent practical experience is preferred
