McNaughton's, a multi award-winning Landscaping, Gardening and Estate Maintenance company based in East Sussex, has a wonderful opportunity for a professional, very enthusiastic and hard working individual to join our team.
McNaughton's have won multiple RHS awards for works at the Chelsea Flower Show, we are members of BALI. We are looking for an individual to join the team who is committed to progressing within the company in this exciting industry.
The position is on the Gardening/Estate Maintenance side of the business, for an individual with a keen interest in gardening, and who wants to progress their skills in the gardening and horticultural industry. The position would be working within McNaughton's gardening team, which undertakes the maintenance and progression of various beautiful gardens and Country Estates in East Sussex and Kent.
The working responsibilities/skills would include but are not limited to:
- Border Maintenance (with a good knowledge of plant recognition and care).
- Lawn Maintenance (grass cutting, fertilising, renovating etc).
- Hedge Trimming (ornate and regular).
- All aspects of horticulture (specialised and more general).
- Garden clearance and seasonal work.
- Sweeping, leaf blowing, maintenance of hard surfaces and furniture within the gardens.
- Specialised pruning, trimming and training of plants.
- To undertake the maintenance / cleaning of water features and irrigation systems.
- To be proficient in the safe operation of machinery subject to training.

Salary: £28,000.00 to £30,000.00 per/year (negotiable depending on experience)
