Brightside Supported Living Services (Ashington) are looking to expand our Bank Support Worker team and are seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about supporting young people with additional needs.
This is an ideal opportunity if you're looking for flexible, occasional work to fit around existing employment, studies, childcare, or other commitments. Bank staff play a vital role in helping us provide consistent, high-quality support by covering annual leave, sickness, and periods of increased demand.
Hours Available
Bank shifts are offered on an as-needed basis and include a variety of the following:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 9:00am or 3:00pm – 10:00pm
- Weekends: 9:00am – 10:00pm
- Additional sleep-in shifts are available and paid at a fixed rate.

Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing practical and emotional support tailored to each individual's needs.
- Supporting with daily living activities and routines.
- Encouraging participation in social, recreational, and community activities.
- Promoting independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with the young people you support.
- Working closely with colleagues to provide safe, consistent, and high-quality care.
