Peer Mentor
Key details/responsibilities:
· Provide support and guidance to all participants that have been registered onto the project
· To develop ongoing action plans with participants which will be reviewed on a regular basis
· To provide one to one support and group activities to aid the development of a participant in their recovery
· Work alongside the team structure in delivering services and outcomes for the scheme
· To achieve project targets and outcomes set by Welsh Government
· To support the Team Leader and Community Engagement Officers in raising awareness of the service
· To work in partnership with other practitioners to deliver effective interventions and support for people with Mental Health and/or substance use
· Provide support and supervision to volunteers
Location: Cardiff
Hours: 37 hours per week,
Salary: Fixed point of £25,878 per annum
Duration: Fixed term contract, ending on 31st March 2027.
