We are currently recruiting for an electrician to join our growing team. Ideally you will be a good all-rounder.
We are a busy, well-established electrical contractor. Sunderland based but often work nationally.
We will provide ongoing training and will invest in you and your personal growth.
We have ongoing contracts and site work, servicing a number of different industries and clients both locally and nationally.
Company van, fuel, uniform, test kit and access equipment supplied.
Employed hourly rate negotiable depending on experience.
This is a varied and interesting role. The you will have experience within domestic and commercial installation, reactive tasks and other electrical duties across various client sites. You will be adaptable and flexible with a can-do attitude. You will demonstrate a wide knowledge base. Ideally you will be available immediately.
Essential skills:
- Time served and experienced. Ideally graded JIB electrician.
- 18th Edition qualified with a good knowledge of BS7671:2020.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in domestic and commercial installation works.
- Ability to work on own, using initiative. Technical support always given.
- Able to test their own work
- Have a flexible attitude to work with the ability to work nationally if required.
- A comprehensive tool kit.
Preferred skills:
- A valid ECS or CSCS card
- Excellent fault finding and installation skills.
- Able to carry out and complete EICR’s (domestic and commercial).
- Good customer facing skills.
- Fire alarm testing experience
