Duties
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install various building components using hand tools and power tools
- Construct frameworks, walls, floors, and ceilings with precision and attention to detail
- Install roofing systems including shingles, metal panels, or membranes while ensuring weatherproof integrity
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed for custom structural elements
- Conduct heavy lifting safely to move materials and equipment around job sites
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or roofing with a strong understanding of building techniques
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
- Knowledge of roofing systems, masonry work, plumbing basics, and general construction practices
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail and quality craftsmanship
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors
