Our work has generated millions of views for clients over the past few months alone. After thriving within the videography and social media sectors, we are now expanding our automotive photography division and looking for a talented individual to become part of that growth.
You will join a small, friendly and ambitious team working around sports cars, supercars, luxury vehicles and premium automotive events. You may also occasionally assist behind the scenes on viral social media shoots alongside our wider production team.
The Role
Your main responsibility will be photographing vehicles using our established and consistent imaging format.
The complete workflow is already in place, so the role is straightforward: follow the process, capture every required angle and maintain a consistently high standard throughout the day.
You must be sharp, attentive and able to work quickly without cutting corners. As you will regularly be working around high-value vehicles, we require someone mature, focused and professional who can be trusted to get the job done properly.
You will also use a simple AI-assisted workflow that we are developing to make editing and delivery quicker and more efficient.
Main Responsibilities
- Photographing vehicles using our established format and shot list
- Capturing consistent exterior, interior and detail images
- Checking lighting, focus, exposure, reflections and overall image quality
- Editing and colour-correcting images using Adobe Lightroom
- Organising, naming and uploading files correctly
- Following an established workflow accurately
- Working efficiently while maintaining quality
- Acting carefully and professionally around high-value vehicles
- Occasionally assisting behind the scenes on automotive content shoots and events
What We Are Looking For
- Previous photography experience
- Strong Adobe Lightroom experience is essential
- Confident using professional cameras
- Sony camera experience is strongly preferred
- Good understanding of lighting, exposure and camera settings
- Sharp, attentive and switched on
- Quick and efficient without cutting corners
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable following a consistent process repeatedly
- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Enthusiastic about cars, photography and creative production
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Equipment Provided
You do not need to own any equipment. Cramatic will provide everything required to complete the role, including:
- Professional Sony cameras and lenses
- MacBook
- Tripods
- Professional lighting equipment
- Memory cards, storage and accessories
- All additional photography and production equipment required
Training and Progression
You will receive one full week of in-person training, covering our Sony camera equipment, photography process, Lightroom workflow, quality standards and file-management system.
Once training is completed, you will be expected to manage the established workflow independently.
The starting rate is £14 per hour during the initial three-month probation period. Following successful completion of probation, your performance will be reviewed and your hourly pay will increase.
