Weekend Carer Required – Saturday & Sunday
Hours: 9am–6pm, Saturday & Sunday
We are looking for a reliable, caring and physically fit weekend carer to support Ellie, a 32-year-old woman with a physical disability.
The role includes:
- Personal care, dressing and toileting
- Manual transfers in and out of her electric wheelchair
- Preparing meals and drinks for Ellie and her daughter
- Supporting with daily activities, outings and appointments
- Light household tasks related to her care
- Companionship and general day-to-day support
Important: Due to Ellie’s disability and spinal curvature, she cannot use a hoist or sling and requires manual lifting for transfers. Applicants must therefore be physically fit and comfortable with this aspect of the role. Training and guidance will be provided.
A full UK driving licence is preferred, and previous care experience would be an advantage, although it is not essential for the right person.
We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, dependable and comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
DBS check is required if successful.
