N & S Services, established in 2004, is a leading independent provider of multibay car wash solutions throughout the United Kingdom. The company specialises in the installation, maintenance, and supply of automatic vehicle washing equipment.
Role Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Stores Person to join our stores team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, handling parts, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to contribute to efficient inventory management and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery documentation.
- Accurately record stock movements using inventory management systems.
- Ensure goods are stored correctly and labelled appropriately.
- Maintain clean, organised, and secure storage areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in a timely manner.
- Placing orders for our warehouse and customers.
- Deliver parts to our field engineers (As required)
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week (with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (local working)
- Flexibility is required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or logistics environment.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using inventory systems.
- Strong organisational skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence (towing experience is advantageous)
- Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment
