Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or reservations
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Provide information about menu items, including catering options, specials, and dietary accommodations
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Support food preparation tasks as needed to assist kitchen staff during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or catering environments
- Strong knowledge of serving techniques and food safety standards
- Barista experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with coffee preparation and beverage service
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
