Carpenter/Joiner's Mate
Location: Sittingbourne
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent (or Contract)

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Carpenter/Joiner's Mate to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in carpentry and joinery who wants to gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled tradespeople on a variety of projects. 2nd year apprentices considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting carpenters and joiners with day-to-day tasks on site
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials and tools
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing materials as instructed
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Supporting installation of doors, windows,kitchens, fitted furniture, flooring, and other joinery work
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in joinery/carpentry is desirable
- Good practical skills and willingness to learn
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
