We are excited to be recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join our Business Services team. This is a great opportunity to work with an interesting and varied portfolio of clients while developing your career within a growing independent practice.
The Role
As a Business Services Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting services and supporting strong client relationships. You will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to the work of other departments, broadening your technical knowledge and commercial understanding of the firm.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing Limited Company accounts from underlying records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation
- Preparing sole trader accounts, including calculation of taxable profits, allowable expenses and compliance with relevant tax requirements
- Responding to client queries and requests
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm and contributing to cross-departmental work where appropriate
- Undertaking ad hoc work to support client needs and contribute to a high standard of client service

About You

- At least 3 years’ experience in practice accountancy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proven ability to deliver excellent client service
