We are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our growing team at K&D Meats, a butcher and caterer based in Basildon, serving restaurants across Central and Greater London.
As a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring our products are delivered on time to our customers. The job starts at 6:00 AM, and you'll finish when all deliveries are complete. You’ll be expected to manage multiple deliveries each day while maintaining excellent standards of service and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to restaurants and caterers across Central and Greater London, ensuring products arrive on time and in perfect condition.
- Manage a variety of deliveries in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on timely and accurate drop-offs.
- Maintain and take care of your delivery vehicle, ensuring it's roadworthy and kept clean.
- Navigate using GPS or other tools to plan efficient routes and avoid delays.
- Communicate effectively with both the office team and customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Handle any unexpected delivery issues or challenges, applying strong problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a delivery driver (multi-drop experience is a plus).
- Excellent navigational skills with a good knowledge of Central and Greater London.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good vehicle maintenance skills and a proactive approach to vehicle care.
- Strong problem-solving skills to manage any delivery issues or challenges that arise.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- A full, clean UK driving license.
- A flexible and proactive attitude to work.
