Responsibilities
PPE & Aviation Service Technician is responsible for:
· Ensuring service and repair maintenance of aviation & marine PPE is carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations
· Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading service publications
Tasks
PPE & Aviation Service Technician takes care of:
· Maintaining a clean and safe workshop to the Viking and Part 145 standards
· Completing service requirements by washing, sewing, air testing and seam sealing relevant immersion suits and lifejackets
· Completing service requirements of emergency breathing systems, including the full strip down of systems and filling cylinders where required
· Organising work by reviewing daily requirements and communicating to the other members of the team
