We are looking for two Yard Operatives to join our existing team at our busy Loughborough site, where we store and refurbish our customers’ vehicles.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone reliable, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced vehicle environment.
The Role
- Keep the yard clean, tidy, and well organised at all times
- Safely move vehicles to and from the gatehouse in line with on-site procedures
- Liaise with gatehouse staff and inspectors on vehicle progress
- Assist with checking and signing documentation for vehicle collections and departures
- Ensure documentation matches unique vehicle codes on the FleetPlus system
- Organise vehicles efficiently to maximise yard space and capacity
- Manage time effectively and prioritise workload to meet business needs
- Deliver a high level of customer service at all times
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Own vehicle required due to site location
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
- Experience of working in a similar outside environment
