As we continue to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Sales Executive to join our Commercial team and support the development of our business within the US life sciences market.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin a career in sales, business development and account management within a highly specialised and growing industry. Full training and ongoing development will be provided.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with customers and supporting sales growth across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors in the United States.
You will work closely with experienced colleagues to develop your commercial skills, gain industry knowledge and learn how to manage customer relationships in a technical sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Customer Engagement
- Research and identify potential customers within the pharmaceutical, biotech and life sciences sectors.
- Generate and qualify sales opportunities through phone, email, LinkedIn and virtual meetings.
- Develop an understanding of customer challenges and support the promotion of ONFAB's products and solutions.
- Build positive relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Assist with customer presentations, meetings and product demonstrations.
- Support account management activities and help maintain strong customer relationships.
Sales Support
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals and sales documentation.
- Maintain accurate records within the CRM system.
- Follow up on customer enquiries and provide timely support.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including Operations, Engineering and Product Development to ensure excellent customer service.
Learning and Development
- Develop a strong understanding of ONFAB products, applications and the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions and customer visits when required.
- Continuously develop your sales, communication and commercial skills through structured training and mentoring.
About You
We are looking for someone with energy, curiosity and a desire to build a successful career in sales.
Essential
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business or a related discipline.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively as part of a team.
- Interest in science, technology and commercial business environments.
Desirable
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, hospitality or a placement year.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or manufacturing sectors.
- Experience using CRM systems.
