Liam at Amber Mace is working alongside The Priory Group to find a Deputy Manager for a Residential Home in Bexhill-on-sea to join their team.
We're looking for a passionate, motivated, and hands-on Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team in a Residential Home in the beautiful coastal town of Bexhill-on-Sea.

Our Deputy Manager role offers the perfect balance of leadership and direct care, with:
20 hours of hands-on support, working alongside the team and residents.
20 hours dedicated to management, including leadership, staff development, quality assurance, and ensuring exceptional standards of care.
You'll be a visible leader who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves while helping drive the home forward.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
Leading, motivating, and developing a high-performing care team.
Delivering outstanding, person-centred care for residents with neurological conditions.
Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
Supporting recruitment, inductions, supervision, and staff training.
Managing rotas, audits, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
Acting as Manager in the Registered Manager's absence.
We're looking for someone who has:
Previous experience as a Senior Carer, Team Leader, Deputy Manager, or similar leadership role within health or social care.
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Experience supporting individuals with complex or neurological needs (desirable but not essential).
A Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 5 or working towards it is advantageous).
A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to inspire those around you.
