Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with precision
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and answering questions about menu items
- Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling snacks or light meals as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in food handling areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling payments and giving correct change
- Support stock replenishment by restocking supplies and ingredients throughout the shift
- Ensure the café environment remains welcoming, organized, and safe for both staff and customers
Skills
- Previous barista experience or a strong interest in coffee is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards at all times
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and warmth
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks efficiently and safely
- Strong math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and assist customers confidently

SHIFT PATTERN AS FOLLOWS. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY A MUST.
Wednesday 7.30am - 4.15pm
Thursday 7.30am - 3.15pm
Friday 7.30am - 3.15pm
Saturday 7.30am - 2.15pm
Sunday 7.30am - 2.15pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
