Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and versatile Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and garden bed upkeep to create vibrant outdoor spaces
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators and irrigation systems to support construction and landscaping projects
- Perform general maintenance on equipment, tools, and site infrastructure to ensure safety and functionality
- Support excavation activities by digging trenches, backfilling, and preparing sites for construction or planting
- Help with the installation and repair of irrigation systems to promote healthy landscaping growth
- Follow safety protocols at all times while working on-site, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and your team
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, gardening, horticulture or related fields demonstrating practical skills in landscape or site maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge of tools, machinery (including excavators), and irrigation systems is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools for various tasks
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in different weather conditions with stamina and attention to safety
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques and supporting colleagues
- Knowledge of horticulture practices or gardening principles is a plus
- Valid driver’s license is preferred; experience operating machinery like excavators is advantageous
