We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Night Cleaner to join our team at Thyme, a luxury boutique hotel, spa, restaurants and retail destination in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Working during the night, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guest areas, restaurants, spa and back-of-house spaces are spotless, safe and ready for the day ahead. This is an ideal role for someone who takes pride in high standards, enjoys working independently and has a keen eye for detail.
OTE for this role is £31,908pa based on 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough cleaning of public areas, restaurants, bars, spa facilities and back-of-house areas.
- Deep clean designated areas according to the cleaning schedule.
- Vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise all assigned spaces.
- Clean and replenish guest and staff washrooms.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained and stored correctly.
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals in line with company procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards or damage to the relevant department.
- Support the Housekeeping team with additional cleaning duties as required.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
- Physically capable of carrying out cleaning duties, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment.
