Air Salvage International (ASI), based at Cotswold Airport in Gloucestershire, is a world leader in the disassembly of commercial aircraft at the end of their economic life. We are looking to recruit a Mechanic who is keen to work as part of a team in a challenging and fascinating aerospace environment.
The Role
- Dismantling aircraft with extreme care and to the highest standards, in line with our quality and environmental procedures.
- Adhering to company policies to maintain safe working conditions.
- Working as part of a small engineering team, typically between two and four people.
About You
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Able to consider the wider project while remaining focused on individual tasks.
- Own a tool kit (desired but not essential).
Working Hours
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
This position would suit a motor mechanic, industrial service engineer, or fitter with an aptitude for learning new techniques and skills, who is looking for a more challenging environment.
Training & Development
Successful applicants will undertake in-house and external training such as Human Factors, Working at Height, EWIS, and Fuel Tank Safety, building a comprehensive training passport as the role progresses.
