Job Title: Children’s Support Worker

Shift Pattern: 7am – 10pm | 2 days on, 2 days off
We are currently recruiting for Children’s Residential Support Workers to join a well-established 3-bed EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) home in Stevenage.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people by providing consistent, nurturing, and therapeutic support within a structured residential setting.
As a Children’s Support Worker, you will:

Provide day-to-day care and emotional support to young people

Support with routines, education, and appointments

Promote positive behaviour and act as a strong role model

Contribute to care planning and risk assessments

Maintain accurate records and reports

Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
You will play a key role in creating a safe, stable, and empowering environment where young people can thrive.
Experience working within a children’s residential setting is ESSENTIAL- (EBD experience desirable)

NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People preferred, but not essential

Candidates without NVQ Level 3 will be considered if they have relevant children’s home experience.
Competitive hourly rate (£12.50 – £15.00 depending on experience)
