We’re looking for a bright, capable and collaborative individual who enjoys analysing information, solving problems and finding effective ways to turn ideas into high-quality products.
Previous experience in assessment development isn’t essential – we’ll provide full training and ongoing support to help you build your knowledge of our products, assessment methods and regulatory requirements. What matters most is your ability to learn, communicate confidently with a range of stakeholders, work collaboratively and demonstrate DSW’s values and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
As an Assessment Product Developer, you will take ownership of a portfolio of assessment products and support them throughout their lifecycle. With training and support from the wider team, you will:
- Research and develop an understanding of the sectors and occupations we assess.
- Analyse information, identify key requirements and make well-reasoned recommendations.
- Help to design and develop new assessment products and supporting materials.
- Review existing products and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with colleagues, clients and subject matter experts to gather feedback and turn ideas into practical solutions.
- Support product development projects from initial concept through to implementation and rollout.
- Communicate product updates and changes clearly to internal teams, clients and assessors.
- Monitor product performance and help to ensure that our assessments remain fair, effective and compliant.
- Maintain clear and accurate records throughout the product lifecycle.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions that improve our products, processes and ways of working.
Education, Skills & Experience

You do not need a particular qualification or professional background. You will need to demonstrate that you can understand complex information, learn quickly and apply your knowledge effectively.

Desirable
- Knowledge of, or experience in, Further Education or assessment design is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
