Kingfisher Midlands is the local face of Direct Seafoods across the Midlands, supplying chefs and caterers with quality fresh and frozen fish and seafood, backed by the support and buying power of the wider Direct Seafoods network.

Job Role:
This is a customer-focused sales role, helping customers get the right products, service and support every day. The role will involve:
· Building strong relationships with existing customers
· Developing new accounts and spotting opportunities for growth
· Taking and processing customer orders accurately
· Managing call diaries and keeping regular contact with customers
· Working closely with Business Development Managers, Buyers, Fishmongers and the wider team
· Learning about fish, seafood, seasonality and customer menus so you can offer helpful advice
We would love to hear from people with sales, customer service, catering, foodservice or seafood experience, but we are just as interested in people with the right attitude: positive, reliable, curious and ready to learn.
· A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
· A friendly, confident telephone manner and strong communication skills.
· An interest in food, catering or seafood.
· Good organisation, accuracy and basic Word, Outlook and Excel skills.
· Motivation to work towards targets and build a long-term career.
· A resilient, customer-first approach when handling queries or complaints.
