About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, supporting everything from day-to-day processing through to month-end reporting and compliance.

As part of our Finance team, you will:
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
- Prepare and maintain accruals, prepayments, and journals
- Liaise with Group functions on intercompany recharges
- Run monthly depreciation and complete inventory reconciliations
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
- Prepare and process supplier and ad hoc payments
- Ensure accurate and timely VAT returns in line with HMRC regulations
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing and analysing all accounts
- Process employee expenses
- Support monthly P&L reviews with the Finance Manager and Finance Director
- Prepare reporting packs for Spain and the USA
- Assist with year-end audit and liaise with external auditors
- Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Experience working with multi-currency transactions
- Manufacturing industry experience is advantageous
- Good understanding of finance processes and systems
- Strong Excel and data entry skills

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
