About Us
We are a social-impact housing organisation providing accommodation and support to individuals on Universal Credit and low incomes. We work closely with local authorities, charities, and partner organisations to provide safe, managed housing.
As we open our new office in Cricklewood, we are looking for a professional, confident Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for tenants, partners, and visitors.
The Role
This is a front of house, office based role. You will be responsible for managing enquiries, maintaining professional boundaries, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
You are not a decision maker or caseworker your role is to log, organise, and escalate enquiries appropriately.
Key Responsibilities Front of House & Communication
- Answer incoming phone calls during office hours
- Welcome and manage walk in visitors
- Respond to emails and messages professionally
- Log all tenant enquiries accurately
- Book appointments and viewings
- Act as a gatekeeper to management
Administration & Organisation
- Update tenant and enquiry records
- Maintain call and message logs
- Assist with basic paperwork and filing
- Prepare letters and documents as required
- Maintain key logs and access records
- Support management with general admin tasks
Boundaries & Professionalism (Essential)
- Do not promise outcomes to tenants
- Do not make decisions on rent, arrears, or benefits
- Follow office hours and lunch closure procedures
- Escalate genuine emergencies only
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
About You Essential
- Confident communicator
- Calm under pressure
- Organised and reliable
- Comfortable dealing with difficult conversations
- Professional and firm when enforcing rules
Desirable (not essential)
- Reception, admin, or customer service experience
- Experience working in housing, social care, or community settings
Full training will be provided.
