Responsibilities:
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
- Monitor and assess the development and progress of each child
- Communicate with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the nursery room
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Provide guidance and support to nursery staff members
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
- Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Early Childhood Education, Child Development)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- First Aid and CPR certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of health, safety, and licensing regulations
