Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scheduler Co-ordinator specializing in Industrial Heating projects. In this vital role, you will oversee the planning and coordination of heating system schedules, ensuring seamless operations across various departments. Your expertise will help optimize project timelines, manage logistics, and facilitate effective communication between teams, suppliers, and clients. Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate engineers and site visits.
- Manage reactive breakdowns, servicing and planned maintenance.
- Liaise with customers, engineers, suppliers and project teams.
- Monitor job progress and keep customers updated.
- Arrange access, materials and equipment where required.
- Maintain accurate records and update scheduling systems.
- Prioritise urgent work and respond effectively to changing requirements.
- Monitor shipping & receiving activities to ensure accurate and efficient movement of goods aligned with project timelines.
- Analyze scheduling data to identify potential delays or bottlenecks, implementing corrective actions proactively.
- Maintain comprehensive records of shipping schedules, delivery statuses, and project updates for audit purposes.
Requirements
- Strong analysis skills to interpret scheduling data and optimize project timelines efficiently.
- Able to remain calm and organised under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette and clear written correspondence abilities. Good IT and administration skills.
- Proficiency in data entry, typing accuracy, and managing shipping & receiving documentation.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations, freight procedures, and inventory management best practices.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience within industrial heating, HVAC engineering or maintenance would be advantageous.
