Taking full responsibility for the security of the hotel and wellbeing of hotel guests during the night, in the absence of The Duty Manager.
Reporting to The Duty Manager.
The Role:
· PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY BEING THE SECURITY OF 34 BEDROOM HOTEL AND GUESTS DURING THE NIGHT
· THE ROLE ALSO INVOLVES SOME RECEPTION DUTIES, SOME CLEANING DUTIES
· THE PROVISION OF FOOD AND BEVERAGES TO HOTEL GUESTS AS REQUIRED
· PREVIOUS HOTEL EXPERIENCE PREFERABLE
· THE ABILITY TO WORK ALONE IS ESSENTIAL
The Person:
- Previous experience of working in a hotel environment or in a similar role would be preferred, but is not essential as full training will be provided
- Able to work from 11pm to 7.30am weekdays and 11pm to 8.00am weekends, 4 days on 4 days off rolling rota issued for the complete year, at the start of the year
- A passion for hospitality and customer service
- Confidence for lone working
- Ability to keep calm in an emergency situation
- An outgoing personality
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn
