Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong drive to maintain cleanliness, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
*WAGES ARE PAID UPON MINIMUM WAGE DEPENDING ON AGE*
Shift pattern: 2 x 9am - 6 pm, 3 x 9am-2pm - this role will include weekend work!
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dust and debris.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as required.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English.
- A proactive drive to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Flexibility in working hours may be required based on operational needs.
