We are looking for a Maintenance Planner to assist the maintenance and engineering sectors to deliver an optimised level of asset reliability and availability necessary to meeting business expectations. Ideal candidate would be an experienced,time served trades person looking to move into a less hands on role
In detail, the position encompasses duties and responsibilities as follows:
· To provide detailed planning as outlined in the Maintenance Management Plan (MMP) including developing safe systems of work, sourcing and ordering of materials and components and scheduling proactive and reactive maintenance tasks
· To schedule maintenance work in coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor, Mechanical Planner, and Production Planner, as prescribed in the MMP
· To ensure effective management of information systems
· To liaise with the Supply team
· To carry out administrative duties
· To review maintenance work order information and identify opportunities to optimise maintenance costs while maintaining reliability and availability
· To arrange and manage meetings
· To administer and manage service providers and contractors acting as a responsible officer for maintenance tasks
The ideal candidate will have:
· Previous experience working as a craftsperson in an electrical trade is essential
· Experience in planning maintenance tasks within a heavy manufacturing or processing environment or for the trade
· Knowledge of the construction and maintenance of LV and HV distribution systems, drives, instrumentation, and PLC equipment
· A good understanding of IET Wiring Regulations or the willingness to learn this
· Experience with planning and scheduling using a CMMS or EAMS
· Committed effort in maintaining the highest safety standards
· Proficient in interpreting technical manuals and engineering drawings

Pay: From £56,500.00 per year
