Job Title: Financial Data Administrator
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week

This role is based on-site at Langdale Hotel and Spa, Ambleside, LA22 9JD.
Role Summary
Provide accurate and timely collection, analysis and reporting of operational and financial data to support business decision making. The role works closely with the Management Accountant and operational departments to produce meaningful management information, identify trends, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure data integrity across key business systems.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, validate and organise data from Workforce, GuestRevu, Procure Wizard, EPOS, Trail, solar panel systems and utilities.
Identify relevant data sources and maintain structured datasets.
Analyse operational and financial data using appropriate software and analytical techniques.
Produce ratio analysis, trend analysis and performance reports.
Develop dashboards, charts and graphs to present findings.
Produce regular reports for internal stakeholders.
Analyse historical data to support budgeting and forecasting.
Support the Management Accountant in reviewing forecasts and budgets.
Identify operational cost efficiencies through expenditure and occupancy analysis.
Undertake internal audits of systems and data to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality and high standards of data governance.
Our Ideal Candidate
Experience in hospitality systems, data analysis, finance, or business support, with advanced Excel skills
Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools such as Power BI
Relevant qualification in Business, Finance, or Data Analytics (or equivalent experience)
Proactive, solution‑focused approach with strong organisational and time‑management skills
Empathetic, approachable, and able to communicate effectively
High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
