Job Overview
We are delighted to be recruiting a Class 2 Day Driver to provide an excellent delivery service to our customers within our Pallet network. You will be based at our head office just outside of Chester and the job is of a multi-drop nature in and around the Chester area.
At Lunar we offer, a drop bonus and enhanced overtime rates
Class 2 licence and full CPC essential.
FLT License preferable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Making sure that the vehicle is loaded correctly and securely.
- Undertake daily inspections of vehicles and trailers and complete either a Nil Defect Report or a defect Report, as necessary.
- Ensure that the vehicle is kept in a clean and tidy condition in line with company requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to tacho regulations and the safe use of the national road network in line with the road transport laws and regulations.
- To correctly use mobile device to complete collections & deliveries.
- Always ensure strict adherence to both on-site and off-site Health and Safety Regulations, reporting any breaches to site management immediately.
