Wexel Gaming Limited is an established and dynamic company supplying gambling products into the high street, casinos, cruise ships and the online gaming space. Due to continued expansion, we're looking for a Software Engineer to join our small, agile development team. The job is based at our offices in Hull.
Job Description
You'll join a small backend team building and maintaining software products including server-side systems in a regulated gaming environment. Working in an agile setting, your input will be genuinely valued — this isn't a place where engineers disappear into tickets.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining software components and services across a diverse range of products, writing unit tests, preparing and reviewing releases, producing technical documentation, and contributing to sprint planning and delivery via Jira.
A successful applicant should have at :
- Strong C# and /NET experience
- PostgreSQL — comfortable writing and optimising queries
- Git for version control
- Experience writing unit tests
- A degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, or equivalent demonstrable experience
Beneficial Skills include:
- Experience working in an agile or Scrum environment
- Exposure to DevOps practices or CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in a regulated or compliance-driven industry
- Familiarity with Blazor
