Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial van to complete multiple deliveries throughout your designated route
- Load and unload packages with care, including handling heavy lifting when necessary
- Verify delivery details and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and update tracking systems in real-time
- Communicate proactively with dispatch to report progress, delays, or issues on the route
- Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures to ensure a secure driving environment
- Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management and package sorting when not on the road
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role involving multi-drop deliveries
- Training Provided
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving vans or commercial vehicles preferred
- Ability to lift heavy packages safely and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and providing excellent customer service at all times
Pay: £115.00-£250.00 per day
