Office based at Darby House 4 days a week and working from home 1 day a week

The Role
As a Family Connect Safeguarding Coordinator, you will play a key role in our Family Connect service, providing professionals, partner agencies, and members of the public with timely information, advice, and guidance relating to Children's Social Care matters.
You will help ensure that referrals and enquiries receive an effective and positive response, supporting the safeguarding of children and young people across the borough.
This is a varied and rewarding role that involves:

Responding to referrals and enquiries relating to Children's Social Care.

Providing information, advice, and guidance to a range of stakeholders.

Undertaking enquiries via telephone and electronic communications.

Supporting effective decision-making and safeguarding processes.

Working closely with partners to promote positive outcomes for children and families.
The role is fast-paced and challenging, requiring excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
