Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable CSCS Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Support tradespeople by handling materials, tools, and equipment needed for roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and more
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to aid in construction activities
- Help with the installation of formwork, or temporary structures as required
- Carry out basic carpentry tasks under supervision
- Follow schematics and safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance and minimize hazards
- Contribute to site cleanliness by maintaining organized work areas and disposing of waste properly
Qualifications
- Prior construction experience or familiarity with building sites is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
- Basic understanding of construction site set ups.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Commitment to safety procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
