General Practice Nurse, Part-time preferably Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (salary pro rata)
Bidford Health Centre, located near the semi - rural village of Bidford on Avon and within easy driving distance of Stratford-upon-Avon, Alcester and Evesham is a large, modern and purpose-built health centre incorporating a dispensary.
We seek an additional practice nurse due to increasing list size (14,300) and expanding local services to join our friendly, innovative, supportive and capable team. Our team includes 3 GP Partners, Business Partner, 6 salaried GPs, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 2 Nurses, 1 Nurse Associate, 1 Student Nurse Associate and a Health Care Assistant. In addition, our MDT, employed by us includes 3 Clinical Pharmacists a Pharmacy Technician and other key roles, all ably supported by our administrative team.
We seek applications from qualified nurses with experience of the tasks performed in general practice such as cervical screening, travel & child immunisations, long term conditions management or, who are keen to take their first steps into general practice and desire further training, learning and development.
We are an NHSE quality assured teaching practice with a regular complement of resident doctors and medical students with a strong focus on education.
Local data demonstrates we’ve comparable workforce and recent national patient survey data shows 88% of patients would recommend the practice compared to an 81% ICS average. We demonstrate strong performance in QOF and other measures.
