Valley Coffee is looking for a full time chef.
This is a rare opportunity in the industry to work daytime hours and be home for dinner, AND we are also closed Sundays.
We are a owned and run by Valley church, operating as a busy cafe serving breakfast and brunch food to the locals and being a hub of the community
We focus on a quality Breakfast and Brunch Menu served 9:00-15:00 and currently turning over around 100 covers per day.
We take pride in looking after our staff and as well as offering sociable hours in the hospitality industry we pride ourselves in creating a positive working environment where staff enjoy turning up.
Working hours will be 4-5 days per week between Monday & Saturday dependant on the applicants availability and requirements
Typically shift is 8:00-15:30
The Ideal candidate:
-Fit into to our friendly team dynamics and culture.
-Self motivated, taking pride in their work and their workplace
-Ability to work in a clean and tidy manner keeping their areas appropriately clean
-Ability to work efficiently and with urgency when required
-Competent to cover any Head chef absences and holidays
-Have a calm temperament whilst working in a fast paced environment
-Work with and follow instructions from chef.
-Proactively put forward your own ideas and suggestions
-Can manage ordering/stock levels
-Level 2 food safety qualified

Plus 5% loyalty bonus after 1 years service
