Reporting to the CEO, you'll cover management accounts, financial reporting, business partnering, analysis and process improvement. It's a broad role that suits someone who enjoys variety and the pace of a smaller business, with real room to grow and a clear path towards Head of Finance for the right person as the business scales.

What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports, keeping reporting accurate and on time.
- Run the month end and year end, and keep financial controls and reporting standards strong.
- Handle budgeting, forecasting and cash flow, with clear analysis and insight to back up business performance.
- Work closely with operational teams and senior leadership to support commercial decisions and wider plans.
- Review how the business is performing, spotting trends, risks and opportunities to improve profit and efficiency.
- Reconcile payment activity across our payment providers and methods, including deposits, withdrawals and chargebacks.
- Account for customer balances and outstanding liabilities, keeping them accurate on the balance sheet until they settle.
- Make sure promotions and marketing offers are accounted for correctly, whether as a liability or a marketing cost.
- Monitor cash flow across our operating and customer funds, and keep on top of financial risk.
- Manage supplier payments and keep accounts payable accurate and up to date.
- Run monthly payroll, making sure PAYE, NI and pension submissions are accurate and on time.
- Coordinate the annual audit and keep the company on top of its VAT, tax, duty and statutory reporting obligations.
