The Role:
The role of the Climbing Wall Assistant is to provide support to operational colleagues by ensuring our climbing wall facilities are run safely and ready for our users and visitors, as well as providing a first-class level of customer service.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about the sport of climbing and enjoys a fast-paced job that boasts a fun, positive culture. The candidate would have regular availability including daytime, weekends and evenings, be flexible and work well both within a team and on their own.
An enhanced with child barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this post.
Salary Information:
New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. This ensures fairness, consistency and transparency in our pay structures. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
