Centenary House Nursing Home is seeking experienced and compassionate Bank Senior Care Assistants to join our dedicated team providing high-quality care to older adults.

About the Role
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the nursing and care team, leading by example, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
- Supporting and supervising Care Assistants during shifts.
- Assisting with care planning and maintaining accurate records.
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting concerns appropriately.
- Supporting residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities.
- Promoting a safe, respectful, and homely environment.
- Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Hold a minimum SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Have previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant within a care home for older adults in Scotland.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Have a good understanding of person-centred care and relevant care standards.
- Be flexible and available to work bank shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required.
