Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer/Cladder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing and cladding systems on a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help ensure the durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our clients’ buildings. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately install roofing and cladding systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and install materials with precision.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for lifting materials onto rooftops or into position.
- Apply roofing techniques such as waterproofing, flashing, and sealing to ensure long-lasting protection against weather elements.
- Fabricate custom metal components or cladding panels as needed to fit project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and general contractors to coordinate project timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing, cladding, or related construction fields with a strong understanding of construction processes.
- Proficiency with schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate project execution.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics.
- Knowledge of roofing materials such as metal panels, membrane systems, shingles, or tiles; familiarity with masonry or plumbing is a plus.
- Strong construction background with experience in carpentry or masonry preferred.
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Pay: £17.50-£18.00 per hour
