Internal Salesperson / Account Development Executive
We are looking for a proactive Internal Salesperson to join our powered access hire team here at JPS Platforms.
JPS Platforms are a leading powered access rental company running in excess of 1000 machines across the UK from our Harlow, Essex location. We focus on providing a first class hire experience to our customers who span many different sectors.
This Hybrid role will focus on contacting existing customer accounts, building relationships, identifying future hire opportunities and helping create a consistent pipeline of work for our hire desk and sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Contact existing and current customer accounts by phone
· Identify upcoming projects and future powered access requirements
· Follow up previous hires, quotes and enquiries
· Reactivate dormant or low-spend accounts
· Promote our fleet including scissor lifts, boom lifts, diesel scissors and low-level access
· Record customer notes, opportunities and follow-up actions accurately
· Work closely with the hire desk, transport, workshop and external sales team
The Ideal Candidate:
· Confident telephone manner
· Sales, account management, customer service or hire desk experience
· Organised and able to manage follow-ups
· Commercially minded and target driven
· Good attention to detail
· Positive, proactive and reliable
Experience in powered access, plant hire, tool hire, construction supply or a similar hire-based industry would be an advantage, but full support will be given to the right person.
Salary:
£28,000-£37500 basic salary, depending on experience, plus performance bonus.
